As our compassion grows through our meditation practice, we develop a wish to be of more and more benefit to others. Buddha taught six practices, the Six Perfections, that nurture our potential and help us to grow into the person we always wanted to be. Through Buddha’s special instructions on the perfections of giving, moral discipline, patience, joyful effort, concentration, and wisdom, we can help our world and improve our inner qualities at the same time.
