We know from our experience that trying to find happiness is fleeting and unreliable. We easily get distracted by chasing the mirages of things, people and places which often leave us discontent. They never really give us the satisfaction, peace of mind that we all yearn for.
All thoughts and feelings arise from the mind and so they must eventually dissolve back into the mind. In this series, we will discover happiness from a different source — our peace of mind. In order for that to happen, we need to learn to settle our mind using ancient meditation methods for modern times.

You don't need to be Buddhist to benefit from these teachings. Each class includes a relaxing breathing meditation, a teaching, a contemplative meditation, and a closing dedication. Classes can be attended individually or as a series.
The Sunday morning meditation class is taught by Gen Kelsang Chokyi with guest Kadampa teachers on occasion.
This class will be using the book Transform Your Life and Clarity of Mind booklet by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche which is available to purchase in the bookstore.
