From Worrier to Warrior
Tuesdays 12:15 - 12:45pm | $8 drop-in | Free for members
What is worry? Our mind is focused inappropriately on a “what if”? What if something bad happens? What if I lose my job? What if people don’t like me? What if my partner leaves me for someone else? What if I fail? Worry functions to destroy our mental peace and yet, we feel that it’s the most important thing to focus on.
Shifting our focus from “worrier” to “warrior” — from ignorance “worrier” to wisdom warrior. We need to increase our wisdom. Buddha gave instructions known as the “four noble truths.” They are called “noble truths” because they are superior and non-deceptive instructions. We are focusing on the first three noble truths in this series.
