In a world that moves fast, schedules are full and our mind feels like it’s racing, how can we experience a calm mind? Through learning to recognize those states of mind that are disturbing our peace and replace them with mindsets that generate peace of mind. In just 30 minutes, you can return to work or home We all know that we have good habits and not so good habits in daily life. Come explore the mental habits of happy people. Habits that oppose destructive and negative states of mind and replace them with positive minds like love and compassion.
In this series, we will explore:
How can we change our habits of thinking in ordinary ways?
How can we stop worrying and start being happy?
How does real love make us happy?

You don't need to be Buddhist to benefit from these teachings. Each class includes a relaxing breathing meditation, a teaching, a contemplative meditation, and a closing dedication. Classes can be attended individually or as a series.
The Tuesday lunchtime meditation class is taught by Fred May with guest Kadampa teachers on occasion.
This class will be using the book Transform Your Life by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche which is available to purchase at the Center Bookstore.
