Meditation makes our mind calm and peaceful. Spending a little time every day connecting with your mind can help in every area of your life, both physically and mentally. It will also help you access your greatest potential—to experience pure happiness—and to become the very best version of yourself.

This half-day course is the perfect introduction to meditation according to Kadampa Buddhism, providing the basic techniques that will enable you to experience all that meditation has to offer. Join us as we provide you with the essential tools you need to build a strong foundation for meditation practice and inner peace.

About the Teacher

The Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Indianapolis is Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Wangden. Gen Wangden is known for his kind heart, joyful nature, and practical advice. He enjoys helping students of all abilities and interests understand and apply Buddhist lessons and cultivate inner peace.
