Meditation offers a skillful approach to handle our most difficult feelings, such as anger, craving, and fear.  Often people avoid dealing with mental pain by distracting themselves or blaming others, but this only makes matters worse.
This workshop will teach you meditations and mindfulness strategies you can use to change the way you respond to painful feelings so that you can experience greater inner strength and peace of mind.
Fred May has been a student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 15 years, and has been teaching for more than a decade. He is also a newly retired nursing professor from the University of Indianapolis. Fred is a sincere practitioner with a wealth of knowledge on mala making and statue filling. He continues to play a large role in the growth and continuation of Kadampa Meditation Indianapolis.
